We have an exciting new venue at Scots All Saints College - Senior School Campus. The format of our Robotics Club is changing in Term 3 as we now have many experienced members wanting to further their building and coding skills with larger and more challenging robots. Depending on your experience and interest, you have the choice of the following activity streams:

Robotics 101

A structured program for children with limited or no experience with LEGO robotics. Each week complete a different activity with guided instruction to develop your skills in robot building and coding. Children in this activity stream may switch to Robo Maker when and if they are ready.

Robo Maker

An open-ended program for children with experience and confidence with LEGO robotics. Complete larger multi-week challenges to design, build and code robots to solve a variety of problems. Ideal for children with independence, initiative and inquiring minds.

​

Both activity streams have children working in pairs using LEGO Spike Prime Robotics and LEGO BrikQ Motion kits and Chromebook computers (all supplied). Children in the Robo Maker stream can bring their own tablet or laptop device with the LEGO Spike app downloaded if they wish.

​

Robotics Club meets for seven weeks each school term and is open to children currently in Years 4 to 9 at school (Year 4 only if they have prior experience with LEGO Robotics).
